Eileen was a wonderful lady. I've been her neighbour since 2008 and we had frequent chats over the garden fence. I helped her after she fell and during some of her lonely times afterwards. I will remember her for her stoicism, indepence, war spirit, and cheerfulness. She never said a harsh word to me. I'm sure her spirit is in a much better place.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
